Job

Job Module allows you to explore jobs in each and every state. It comprises the following,

Pending Jobs
Completed Jobs
Cancelled Jobs
All Jobs
Favorites
Trashed Jobs

Pending Jobs

Pending module has the list of Jobs that are yet to reach the destination.

New Job can be created from the option available at the right corner.

Go to Operations --> Job --> New Job.

A pop up window will be opened with a list of sub sections.

Default sections available are General, Package, Container, Import.

Remaining Sections are made visible based on the type services selected . i.e if you select Custom Clearance as Service, then the Service column gets activated

Columns that are in frozen states are : Clearance, Warehousing, Transportation.

In the General(*) Column you will have to fill in the basic details like primary customer , secondary customer(if have any ) , salesman and type of service done.

Based on the service selection the frozen column will get activated wherein you can fill the necessary details.

You are Given Three different Category in a radio button to be chosen, they are

AOG - Air on Ground Services (in case of Urgent Shipments )
ROU
DG - Dange

Customers

Customer module depicts the list of customers along with their contact information and the respective salesman who has established the relationship between your organization and the customer.

In the Actions section, you have choices for exporting in CSV, XSLV, Customize the export and also can Import data.

Refresh is an unique option provided inside the page wherein if you press the refresh button , only the data will get refreshed and not the whole page.

Moreover, within the Export As feature, you have the option to copy and export the data displayed on the page in both CSV and Excel formats.

Customers can be created in two methods.

Through the Customer Module
Through the Quick Creation

Below are the steps to be followed to create customers,

Method One

Step One: Go to Customers --> New Customer (residing on the right corner of the page). A new popup window will be opened.

Step Two : Once the window is opened , you could see 6 different sections to be filled. The sections are as follows,

General
Contact
Communication
Sales
Documents
Bank
Remarks
Tracking

How do I record a New Payments in the Bridge LCS?

Payments

This module serves as a tool for creating and monitoring payments, advances, and refunds made to suppliers.

The payment list page will show all transactions made to the supplier i.e. payments, advances or refunds in drafted, approved and cancelled status.
You can filter the payment data by entering the Date Filter, Module,Supplier or Created By Name.
The Match Credit feature allows to adjust the supplier invoice from the advance paid.

Type 1: Payments

Payment section is used to record the payments made to the supplier with respect to their outstanding Invoice.

Steps To Create Payment:

Step 1: Go to Finance→ Vouchers→ Payments→ New Payment Select the Type i.e. Payment

Step 2: Enter Supplier and Voucher details Select the Supplier, Account Number, Voucher Date,Voucher Text etc.

The currency exchange rate column displays the exchange rate for the currency selected when the supplier was created.

When a supplier is selected from the supplier drop-down, All the invoice related to that particular supplier will be displayed below.

How can I view and download my customer statements in Bridge LCS?

Customer Statement

Customer Statement Provides you the list of financial transactions happened. Multiple filters are available to fine tune your data.

Firstly you need to select the customer whose data are to be reviewed or analysed.
Secondly you need to choose either filter through date or Currency. After applying the filters Select the type of statement you wish to observe.

This falls under three categories :

Balance Statement
Ledger Statement
Advance Transactions

Balance Statement Statement has list of Unpaid Entries respective to the customer

Advance Transactions List of Paid entries can be observed here.

Ledger Statement Ledger furnishes all paid and unpaid entries in respect with the customer selected.

Credit / Debit : Enable / Disable the option to include this as one of the columns in the statement

NOTE : If you do not match your Invoice while creating Voucher, the data will be reflected in both Statement and Ledger.

Default Columns displayed in the statements are** Voucher type, Voucher No, Invoice / Ref No, Client Reference, Cheque No, Job No, Voucher Date, Currency , Amount, Local Amount, Open Amount , Balance.**

If you want additional columns to be displayed on the statement, do the following steps.

How to create supplier invoice

Supplier Invoice

Go to Operation --> Job--> invoice --> Supplier Invoice --> New Invoice --> fill the following details to create an invoice.

Supplier Name
Services - List of Services preferred must be selected
Invoice Type

Normal

Preliminary Invoice - preliminary Invoices are the pre invoices which are created dummy for reference purpose.

Credit Note : Offer Provided by Supplier / Amount Refunded by Supplier. While selecting a credit note , make sure to enable No Bill To Customer to give in to your attention .This Creates a Cost Sheet with 0 Revenue automatically which cannot be converted into Final Invoice.

If No Bill To Customer is not enabled, you need to follow the standard way of creating a cost sheet and Final Invoice.

Delay Billing : Additional Bill received after the contract expired with the customer. No invoices can be submitted to the customer in this case.

Advance Journal Voucher, Journal Voucher, Transfer Voucher

Advanced Journal Voucher

Advanced Journal Voucher is a record created as a confirmation / receipt between the two companies over the payment made.

How To Create Advanced Journal Voucher

**Step 1: ** Go to Finance --> Voucher --> Advanced Journal Voucher.

Step 2 Select an Account No(*) from the list available. **Note **: If you want to create a new account no/include new bank details, go to Finance --> Account and create the same.

Step 3 Select the appropriate Voucher date in which the Voucher is made.

Step 4 Select the type of Voucher whether it is Bank Collection Voucher / Bank Payment Voucher.

Step 5 Select the Sub Voucher Type and Voucher Text (*) .

Step 6 Select the precise Currency Exchange Rate (*) .

Step 7 Select the Type(*) of work for which the voucher is made.

Step 8 Account will be enabled based on the type selected.

Step 9 Click on the Symbol Available in green colour(Matching Icon) next to the Text box to Link Invoice (“ if any Available”) to link the invoice to voucher and Submit

Step 10 Click Save to proceed.

Multiple Entries can be made using "+" available.
